mission
Unraveling anxiety one thread at a time with illustrations depicting the many faces anxiety can have and normalizing the experience altogether.
vision
To create an accessible and inclusive space for people to see just how common anxiety is and begin to work towards dismantling the stigma and colonial ideologies surrounding mental health and wellness.
What an interesting experience life hands us. You think you’ve got it all figured out, and then—boom—life throws you into some of the darkest, scariest places you never knew existed. Places you thought had no end, where you forgot there was ever a beginning.
And yet, here you stand. In both the light and the dark. Some days are heavier than others, but you keep going, your resilience growing in tandem with the challenges. You learn to trust the uneasiness that comes with a life that is both fulfilling and painful. Slowly, you carve out your own place in this world, standing in the pain, the joy, the sorrow, and the uncertainty—because all of it matters.
A life worth living is not one without hardship, loss, or grief—it’s one we choose to stay here for, despite the pain. One where we embrace the bliss, the anguish, the beauty, and the uncertainty. We walk forward, not because it’s easy, but because we are here. Because we belong. Because we matter.
After years of envisioning this, I finally took the leap I had been terrified to take. Oh Hello Anxiety began as a way to process my own experiences with anxiety, OCD, panic attacks, and ADHD—things I spent too long hiding out of fear and shame. The infographics and resources I create are as much for me as they are for you. I wanted to build something louder, brighter, and stronger than any stigma could ever be.
Oh Hello Anxiety is about education, destigmatization, and decolonization of mental health. It’s about providing real tools for navigating anxiety and creating space for people to see that they are not alone. No one should have to walk through this world hiding their pain for fear of judgment. Here, we walk boldly, proudly, and—yes—anxiously, together.
Thank you for allowing me to walk alongside you.
With warmth and racing thoughts,
